First there is money to patch the roads, yes calcutta has booze and each election more and more of it. Will East Liverpool survive YES! East Liverpool has high paying jobs and land available for new businesses. We are located by the river which is a great asset. So yes Calcutta has booze but they also have low paying jobs.

I have nothing against liquor estab. I visit a few here and there for food and a drink. Let me ask you will you go to dan's. I think not! It ties our police force up all the time Lets face it there is no tax revenue off of what is sold around dan's bar.

I am a product of the Steubenville School System. My kids will go to East Liverpool or Big Red. I was not referring to Beaver Local as a Bad School, it can't be that bad.East Liverpool School board member sends his kids to Beaver Local instead of East Liverpool City Schools.

you must have some sort of problem with liquor estab. try working with them inside shutting them down. you need tax money in the city dont you. keep going the way u guys are and there wont be any money left in the city. i cant believe the small amount of business's that are left havent packed up and moved out. maybe instead of all of the administration arguing you should all work together. try it

People seem to know all about fighting fires but I never see them in turnout gear or on any fire trucks. The fire departments in this area all do a great job. maybe Mr outsider should have taken the test to be a full time public safety officer but after reading how you could better the paid and volunteer firefighters in our area i would be safe to say (as you put it )you would have failed the civil service test and so you choose to be a ARM CHAIR QUARTER BACK... Great like we didn't have enough already.......

Remember what I said about not calling help when needed and who ran the east end fires? who ran the down town fire? lifes could be loss because of I'll show you we need more paid men. I wish all firefighters could be paid but lets face it times have changed and i stood up for you when people talked and I still think you can do good for the city with the right attitude. Fact! Homes burn down because of pride not because of manpower and it is safe to say you had manpower on buildings that had no or very little people inside because of the time of fire but you have families sleeping and one day will need someone to get them out instead of putting water on the neighbors home because i am pro union instead of pro life saving attitude. Just put the fire hoses beside the fire hydrant so the neighbors could use them to wet down the house not on fire and it will be the same as ur paid dept being there. I still say the fire chief did make the right call but all the residents need that kind of protection and don't receive it. That is the truth and nothing but!!!!!!

Who said anything like that about Bill Jones or are you just trying (AGAIN) to stir up trouble where none exist?
If everything went so smooth, why were you running around saying it was "total chaos"?
What about the fireman who threw his helmet on the ground...how professional was that?
You need to let this drop. You're lucky the fire dept. didn't crucify you.
